Food As A Comfort! Food makes you feel good. You may think what a strange topic, Food As A Comfort. I thought about calling it food and Overweight. You may say what a strange topic, but if you think about comfort , why do people hold on to some form of comfort . I am talking about a belief system that we call comfort . Now the purpose of this article is not to go into detail why we believe what we believe, but rather how our body and mind require things to us. All that we do in life is to make ourselves feel better.To make ourselves more comfortable, more pleasureable. Life is what you make it.

Now I did not say, that all that we do make us fee better, but rather all that we do is an attempt to make us feel better. To obtain Comfort! We listen to music or a particular type of music why? Music makes us feel good. We go to movies because for one short moment we leave reality and enter into another world. We enter a world that brings us comfort. Certain sports or types of games and other things because they make us feel good. That is were food comes in we eat food not only because we are hungry but to make us feel good. To Bring us Comfort. Comfort Food! We watch a dvd and shortly you go and grab a bag of chips. This act of sitting in front of the TV with food is more out of a habit then hunger. Food has become Comfort. Comfort Food. So now you you can see the connection.

comfort can be a form of as many other things in life. Food can be a form of comfort. Food can make us feel better, but that becomes the problem. What we think is comforting, many times turn out to be discomfort in the form of overweight. . What we put into our bodies does have an effect on how we feel. Some things have immediate results and others take longer, but still have effects. We are creatures of habit so all we need to do is change that habit, change the way we do things and we will soon discover we will see a change in our lives. The next time you sit in front of that TV grab an apple or some other healthy food. Even better go for a walk with you mate or some one who is special to you. You are not only giving your body what it needs, but feeding your mind as well. Just do not do these things once, but make them habits, and you will soon discover that you are looking better, and feeling better. You see, our bodies are a form of engine if you put in the wrong type of fuel in and it is not going to work properly.

Let the body of that engine being idle over an long period of time and you will discover some parts are not working properly. I had a old chev which I let set in the drive way for two years and the brakes ceased. Our bodies need healthy fuel to work properly and if our bodies are not working properly our minds are not working at its best. Unhealthy foods and lack of exercise effect our moods and how we feel about life and about our self. So you see, Food is a comfort , the wrong kind of comfort will have us do the wrong things In conclusion The next time you consider about your think about what you are eating and what you are doing, and you will soon discover life is looking brighter.food makes you feel good.
